Defibrillator on site 

Back in October 2021, Trafalgar Road Baptist Church was given the opportunity to have a public defibrillator on site. This was due to a family member of a local resident securing funding for a public access defibrillation site after a Community First Responder from Horsham Responders helped save her sister's life, thanks to the AED. The church leaders said yes, and after a short wait to get the device, it has been situated on the side of the cabin, next to the church, since the beginning of April 2022.
 


The instructions on the front of the box show you how to access the defibrillator inside in case of an emergency. The defibrillator inside is also simple to use. During a first aid course, I was told that if you can open a zip and press a button, you can operate a defibrillator!

 
While we hope this never needs to be used, we are thankful to have this equipment available, should anyone in our local area need it in an emergency.
